I love this place! My favorite tacos are the fried chicken taco and Memphis bbq taco. Third favorite is the veggie taco, but it's really spicy!
This Taqueria is significantly better than the one I normally go to off Howell Mill Road in Atlanta. Seems to be fresher here. Whatever you are doing here, clue them in down in Atlanta.
It doesn't matter which location you go to, the food is always great! This was my first visit to the Athens location and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients used in wonderful recipes, awesome atmosphere and a clean environment.
The flavors are unique and the food delicious. Were the prices a touch lower ( I never get out for less than $12), the lines a little quicker, or the staff a little less eager to get you out the door to free up the table, it would get 5 stars. .
Absolutely horrible place. Food is mediocre and the staff working there is VERY rude. I asked to make a substitution and the girl at the cash register gets an attitude with me and says, "We don't do that kind of stuff here" They really need to reevaluate the wannabe hipster kids they have working the register. My husband and I will never be returning to this dump.
Be aware that parking is limited, so you're likely to nerd to park a little ways away in the neighborhood, but it's well worth the walk. Definitely with a stop if you want high quality and uniquely Athens food.
