I do tip, but only on the amount of food ordered, I don't tip based on their service charges!

The food will not be hot, or cold, and I got sick from eating from one restaurant that I have since learned barely passes their health dept. scores.

I have been ordering from Bulldawg Food for several years and have always received excellent service. Right orders, polite drivers, and the food usually arrives before the predicted time. Glad to have it around!

But, it's a service. Over-priced, and yes, they notify us that the prices 'differ' from orders at the restaurants, but I think their management has improved. At one point, they accused me of being in the wrong when I called, as the delivery driver was pulling away to say I had gotten someone else's food.

Unbelievably rude drivers. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your money with this business.

It's a luxury service, certainly not for everyone- but I am grateful they exist, because getting any decent food delivered is hard, in Athens.

I am highly disappointed in this company.

I am very proud that I haven't given in to any impulse to order from them since, and am really over it, this time. That driver was dangerously high on something, and I have learned my lesson at last. Never again!

The driver was rude, unapologetic and argumentative.

I was honestly afraid that he was going to grab my moolah, and run with it.

I think the owner came out to deliver to me the next time, just to see if I looked suspicious in any way, and I have noticed that I get calls from the restaurants now, if something I have ordered isn't available.

Edit, November 2017: I will never use this service again. My final order was 4-6 weeks ago. I ordered about 15$ worth of food, and the service charges doubled the cost of my order, to 30$! I called, and the young man who took my call acted helpless to correct charges that hadn't appeared on my order when I placed it.

Locos, Eatstreet, and Golden Sun, as well as Papa Johns all do a better, quicker, cheaper job of delivering food, and I tend to use them more often than Bulldawg.

So, I closed my storm door, agreed with him sweetly, and left him stomping off my porch, red-faced and completely tipless.

Bulldawg Food is really a stroke of genius, speaking from a business standpoint. People can order food from so many different places, and the delivery range seems to be quite vast. This is a convenience service that could and should have a five star review. Yet, it doesn't. So, I'm writing this review to answer one question. How did they get from a brilliant business idea to a below 3-star rating on Google? There's obviously an inconsistency there. Someone is screwing up, and ultimately this burden falls on the person (or people) calling the shots; the people behind the desk. The office staff at Bulldawg Food are among the rudest bunch of people I have encountered in my 10yr residency in Athens. I don't think I have ever witnessed a more unprofessional crew of employees. There's a difference between lax professionalism and doing whatever you want at work. This company could be so much more than it is, but unfortunately, I will echo what others have said here. You've got the wrong people running the show.

I have sworn off this service many times, but end up coming back, when I am sick, and or stranded.

I never write reviews even for services like Bulldawg Food of which until tonight I and my husband were regular customers (ordered 2-3 times per week) but I have never had such rude customer service from a company in my life. We were sent food from the wrong restaurant due to a glitch in the app (possibly) and when I called in to see if we could be sent food from the correct restaurant, I was told but the young man who answered the phone that it was not his problem and that we could not be sent the food we paid for and that we were out of luck. The entire conversation he used a tone that insinuated we were lying and had indeed ordered the food that we were sent. Like I said, we have been regulars of this company for over a year now but because of the attitude of their "customer service rep" Uber Eats will now have our business.

The food was cold to the touch, took well over an hour to arrive and my order was incomplete.

I had not tipped in advance, but had planned to tip in cash, and might have, but only had a 10$ bill. I asked for change, and he yelled at me, about being too cheap, and told me that I obviously couldn't afford to use the service, if I didn't expect to give a 'decent ' tip.
