The splash pad is really nice and there is plenty of shade for parents. It's $1 a person and the splash pad is gated off from the main pool area, so you don't have to worry about smaller kids wandering off into the pool.
Not safe. We love the pirate ship and that the basketball court is right beside it, and as a parent I LOVE that the ground has that rubber material. The baseball field gives a clear view of beautiful sunsets. Most unfortunately, there are no fences to keep the children from running right into the road, which is very close to the playground. Also, the bathrooms are never open. On my trip there yesterday, a local teenager stole my sister-in-law's phone, and the past two times I went, kids were sitting around cursing on the play structure or in the shelter by the playground. Just an unpleasant, unaccommodating place for children.
Any serious fan of getting stabbed will tell you that this is the place to be!
