I took my brand new 2016 VW Jetta to get some repairs from an accident. I waited to write this review to see what the results would be because I was warned about the paint prior. So here goes.....
Had my car painted here. Best place to go.
Upon my first arrival to pick my car up, I was sad because it had a new dent in the door that wasn't there intially and the space between the hood & the right front finder was huge. Also, the paint job wasn't as amazing as promised. Soooooo, I asked them to fix it & they did. When I went back to pick up my car, I thought everything was good. They fixed the issues I had, even the paint looked better. But everything wasn't as it looked. After only a few months, the paint faded off & my car look looked horrible. When I say horrible, I mean horrible. My car is white, so when the paint faded off, it was gray & white. Totally noticeable. The lady in the front office promised that I was getting the best paint they had. It was a LIE!!! I ended up having to take my car to Athens Ford & pay for another paint job out of my own pocket. Now, it's been months, with NO fading, chipping, or cracking. My car still looks amazing. So with that being said, take your car somewhere, pay a little more money & you want have to spend extra money. I totally recommend Athens Ford!!!#
Estimate 2000 and 4 days. 14 days later and multiple repaints due to poor workmanship and a very poor pinstriping cost up to 2300+.
They called at 5 days said it was done, runs galore, pinstriping fell off and parking sensors not working which is the main reason for extra cost, they said they did not put in on estimate when 1 was clearly damaged but still working. Their lack of communication was a real pain unless I called them they would not let me know the progression. I have had maaco in the past very respectable this not so much, just got the truck 1700 on day 15 pinstripe still sub par.
The new location is very spacious and feels a lot nicer than the previous location which fet crowded and small.
