I originally called a few auto repair shops in Athens to find a mechanic to repair my transmission leak. Ironically, another mechanic recommended Randy at Hawthorne Automotive. I made an appointment and Randy had my transmission leak fixed within a few hours. I recommend that you make an appointment in order to have your car repaired on the same day that you drop it off. I'll definitely take my car to Hawthorne Automotive for any future repair work.
We took my car to another shop that incorrectly diagnosed the issue. Luckily, my husband used to be a mechanic and knew they were incorrect. We took it to Hawthorne, and they had it diagnosed within an hour. They had it fixed with an oil change in about a day's time. We will be returning to Hawthorne for ANY future car issues and highly recommend them to everyone. My car is running perfectly now, and they were extremely affordable!
