One of the better laundry locations in Athens. Clean, nice crowd, good location near some cafes and things.
Went here to do my laundry after my home dryer and washer broke. I was nervous to go because I had a lot of laundry and honestly, I had never been to a laundromat before. I absolutely loved it. It is so clean, there is a coin machine, and detergents available for purchase there. Their washers and dryers were amazing! I got 4 loads of laundry done in 2 hours (which is super quick for me)! The man, Joe, at the desk was so welcoming and nice and made me feel very comfortable! If I even had the smallest question, he was there to answer it! They had wifi and outlets where I could charge my phone, too. Great, homey atmosphere! I might do my laundry here all of the time!
If you've got extra laundry that has backed up or large quilts and blankets, then you must try their wash and fold service. A real life saver, especially if you have a large family! And it is surprisingly affordable. It has become a life saver for us to have as a backup plan to the never-ending chore of laundry. So far, we have received same day service. Drop off, go to work or run your errands, and next thing you know, they are calling and it is time to pick up fresh, clean, folded laundry.
I come to this laundromat weekly. It is always clean and staff is friendly. Great place to get homework done (with their free wifi) and to knock out getting laundry done! This laundromat is frequented by families, college students and young professionals- definitely a comfortable and safe environment.
Would be a better place if the owner would pay attention to the reviews over the years, and his staff complaints of one main person running his laundromat! Monti Bennett !!! She is rude to customers as past reviews show uses the place as a daycare. She causes a lot of trouble and drama.And was recently arrested for terroristic threats towards a past employee who she got fired, and threatened to blow his head off and anyone around him! So be careful if she's there !
