Horrible customer service. Went through the drive-thru and there was a coupon misunderstanding. Instead of holding up the drive-thru line, I went inside where there was no one waiting. Figure out the mess up the lady brings my order out and it's wrong. No big deal, it happens. BUT Instead of simply and fixing it, the adult lady blames me and fixes it begrudgingly. Okay? Get my receipt, and I'm reading it over before I walk out and notice they way overcharged me for my coffee. When point it out to the man behind the counter, all he has to say is "oh, sorry" with no offer to make it right. He just turned and started helping the next and only customer behind me. Ookay? THEN to top it all off, I get in the truck start driving down the bypass trying to just get over it and chalk it up to just a little Ole thing, I go to drink my "black coffee, NO CREAM OR SUGAR" and realize that my cup is LOADED DOWN with- yeah, cream and sugar. SO, not only did I overpay for my food, get an attitude a mile long from the lady, I ALSO didn't even get to enjoy my "desert".
Would not recommend this restaurant and most likely will not be coming back. Thanks for nothing Krispy Kreme of Athens.
I absultly love Krispy kreme but let me tell you the service I received makes me never want to go back, l had a hard time choosing what donut I wanted to treat myself because of all the delish options especially because of the season. The guy behind the counter was already getting frustrated for nothing. What is so bad about someone thinking about what their Krispy kreme experience is going to be? While my friend and I thought it over he ran over and tried to secretly blow his nose wipe it on his pants and finish other orders all while another guy was in the back walking around. I almost walked out then but I convinced myself he was going to use tongs. I made my choice he used wax paper btw and we went to the cash register and we split paid as we were gathering cash from each other he rudely said "it should not take you ladies this long" really he had already pushed us to the side to get someone elses order then comes back and said that I honestly don't know if I will be back and I am a uber driver and talk to 1,000 people every 6 months my favorite thing to talk about is good restaurants and some they shouldn't try and why. Seriously Krispy kreme wow this is the face of your company?
Ordered a dozen got home and 2 had been eaten. There was glaze so obviously had been 12 some point. Called the store was told to bring back ( I did 12 miles) however the manager CODY very unprofessional and rude. He actually said they couldn't replace "people have done this before" wait what??? Seriously anyone would think I have enough time and energy to try and steal 2 doughnuts that's not even $2 right??! I have called corporate to resolve the concern.
Oh and even before this once I ordered and paid for 4 dozen doughnuts the night before my daughters birtday party which was at 10 the next morning. My sister in law was going to pick them up. They took all my info even copy of receipt to make sure she would haven no problem picking up. Well next morning they told her they had no idea what she was talking about had no record of this. I was getting ready for a party and had no time to drive there with my reciept. Of course I got the doughnuts but it was an unnecessary hassle.
They do not honor the free doughnut/hot fresh sign. Do not come expecting good coffee or good customer service. But it is still a Krispy Kreme (and the only one in town) which is the only reason I give 2 stars.
They do not have specialty coffees. The donuts were good but not that hot.
