I can't comment on other people's experiences, just on mine.This place has been great. Coming from some big name hotels in Atlanta, it was surprising to see a well kept and friendly hotel of "lesser stars". Comfort Suites in general have more to offer than your standard hotel room but it's always a hit or miss on the quality and presentation. Luckily this was a hit. They've thought of just about everything. From comp breakfast, safes in room, free Internet, fitness center, pool, laundry room, power outlets everywhere at a reasonable height (the big name hotels didn't even have this, I had to unplug lamps), new flat screen tvs, and most important, very comfortable beds. I even had a package sent to the hotel and the front desk took care of it with no problems. I typically camp or would do an Air B&B but ran into circumstances this time around that prevented me from doing so. There were signs noting that a renovation was taking place so I'm pretty sure I had one of the newer rooms,whoch might explain the discrepancy between my room experience and others. If I'm ever in this situation again I'd have no problem staying at at Comfort Suite due to my experience here.
I have had a very nice experience with this hotel. I have stayed here for several years now and I find the service friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is okay too. For the money, I'd say it is worth it.
Largest roaches I have ever seen. Took two showers once I got home.
Very inhospitable staff, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Seemed to only be concerned with payment, and once they have your money, not concerned with customer service or anything else. It should be called Uncomfortable suites. Also is over priced compared to other hotels in the area in which we have stayed. Should not be called down town as it is very much not downtown. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this hotel at all costs!!! I should have listened to the other reviews.
