This place is awesome! Fast service, very clean & good prices. The best part is the nice employees. I haven't had a bad encounter yet, and I've been shopping here since they opened.
By far the worst Kroger if I could give it zero stars I would. I come to this store twice a week for over a year and a half and for the past 6 months they have not had pint 2% Kroger brand milk in stock forcing me to either select a different percent which I do not like or pay more for a different brand or size. They have had such a long time to address the demand for this product but lack the common sense to stock it correctly. This is also not the only product I’ve noticed just the one I’m most pissed about. Thinking about switching to Walmart completely
I rate this store a three out of five because I used the Click service to shop three times and each time was a disappointment. The first time conventionally grown produce was substituted for my requested organic. The next two times many items of produce were unusable like rotten lemons and tomatoes. The final time, our order was given to another customer. Although they pulled a duplicate order it took a long time, and since the entire point of ordering online is to save time, this was not a happy solution. At no time did I get the impression that the store management cared about getting this service right. Hopefully Amazon Fresh will come to Athens soon and they can learn how to provide this type of service. Kroger has some great products. (Simple Truth).
The store is always fairly clean but the new click list program needs to be taught to the associates, I went to the service desk to ask where I go to pick it up they said the back corner of the store, I walk back there and there is no desk or anyone, I ask a near by associate and she has to go to the back to ask them, she politely told me that it's outside in that back corner of the store. Kroger should probably go over this with the accociates better. Also the new natural section that is dispersed throughout the store makes me go to ones with their own section still, it's a tactic that Kroger uses to try to sell you more stuff since you walk the whole store and if you ask them they will just tell you, people are intimidated to shop in a natural foods section. It's annoying but the best grocery store closest to me.
The store is vast and offers a wide assortment of both the Kroger house brands and national products. It's clean and well organized and easy to shop despite the large size.
This is the BEST Kroger around! Well stocked! "Beautifully" arranged! The produce area is out of this world! Looks like it's straight out of a Southern Living magazine! And EVERY employee is very pleasant and very helpful! I wish I lived closer so it could be my home store!
