I like Earth Fare, but usually shop there only for sales items. The quality of products is good, the company philosophy is solid, but the prices are just too high for my day to day shopping.
Sometimes I go in for a bite to eat and walk out. 3 chicken dishes? Is that necessary?
But they do offer items that are difficult to find in this town.
I love Earth Fare! I only go every once in a while because I'm on a budget, but they do have great sales sometimes! Also love their prepared food options for lunch and dinner. Such a mellow place to be. And they carry my favorite tea that I could only otherwise find in Guam. So I love this Grocery!
One of my favorite things about EF is the staff. They are welcoming, helpful, friendly and polite.
Claiming to be Earth friendly, the chain really pushes meat. And on occasion they serve swordfish, not friendly to the Planet.
i cant give 3 stars because I need Earthfare, but ive always to make a comment about their use of canola oil in just about everything they make "in-house". Canola oil is far from being a natural oil. It isnt even food. It is highly processed so to make it edible. I hope one day awareness about this becomes widespread otherwise it will continue to be used as a cheap alternative to real oils.
Lots of fresh and organic produce. Environmentally friendly cleaning and washing supplies. Fantastic tea selection!
