Dr. Chafin is the most compassionate, ethical and knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen in my 70 years. His enthusiasm for your health condition can not be beaten by any other doctor. If there were a 10 on the review and ratings information, I would have given him a 10. Because of other health problems I moved to be closer to family. I miss him more than he will ever know. His staff is always friendly and you are treated with the utmost respect. I could not recommend him more highly. Kindest and most caring doctor I have seen in 70 years!!!!
This is where I take my grandfather and it has been perfect every time! The staff is always friendly, the bathrooms are always clean and Dr. Flickinger is very knowledgeable!
I've never felt so bad or made to feel so stupid and belittled as I have by my current Rheumy in Athens made me feel. My pulmonologist told me the medications I take for RA and the uncontrolled nature of my RA caused my pulmonary embolisms and dvt blood clot. My Rheumy in Athens said my medications don't cause those it was my sedentary lifestyle....mind you I work retail! Also, if you Google methotrexate a rare side effect of methotrexate is blood clots. If you Google Orencia it also is a rare occurrence, but 100% of women got this between 1 and 6 months of starting this drug which is where I fell. Basically, it is because I'm fat that I have pain and also because I'm fat that I have blood clots.
Dr. Chafin takes time to listen to what you say. He even references it at your next appointment. He has helped me so much. 10/10 for me!
