Lonnie shared some of his time and advice at Panera bread the other week. Very nice and helpful owner. Thanks again.
I was in town for a couple of days while my daugher attended a camp at the college. I went shopping at several stores within this shopping center. The Loft sales associates took one look at me and went the other way. I have to admit that I was tired after the previous day which consisted of 9 hours of travel. However, they seemed fine with the next two customers that entered the store behind me. In fact Chicos wasn't much different except the sales associates new how to dress. At first I thought the two sales associates in the loft were regular customers until I saw her approach another woman and describe the sales. They both had on shorts and tank tops along with a necklace. I suppose the accessories were there to give a hint of being professional but it didn't work. I suggest that if you want to shop these types of stores try the outlet mall in Commerce. Your experience will be much better.
I have to agree with the comment below. I don't know if I encountered the same manager, but the woman at the register was exceptionally rude to both me and the woman before me when we tried to exchange items. She also told me, incorrectly, that you cannot return "online exclusives" to the store. I have confirmed with Ann Taylor Loft corporate that you, in fact, can return online exclusives to the store. I have been a Loft customer for years, and I am disappointed by such poor behavior.
There was a salesclerk named Tiffany who helped tremendously. I needed an outfit for my sons wedding and she helped find something I would not have otherwise thought looked good on me. She was wonderful! Thank you!!!!!!
The Loft has some nice business casual clothes, but if you ever have to return something beware of the short haired bleached blond manager. She goes from zero to super witch in a flash when you have a return. She cops an attitude and talks to you in a sassy voice. She's done this to me and my mother multiple times. It's actually shocking! I've never encountered a store manager that was so rude. I guess she's trying to discourage returns with her bad behavior. I've had enough and won't be returning to the store again. One less customer Ann Taylor Loft and in this current economy you really need to keep all you can.
