I've gone to the Parking Services office many times over the past two years, to resolve issues with parking permits and citations. The staff in the office have always been very professional, courteous and helpful. I don't envy them--they have a tough job, having to spend most of their time dealing with people who are complaining about one thing or another. I think they do a great job.
ALSO, $300+ for a PARKING PERMIT??? Move over, Wall Street, there's a new scammer in town.
I only give them a 1/5 instead of a 0/5 because (1) 1 was the only option and (2) the parking deck attendants get a pass because they're the sweetest people. The ticket booth people are agents of light and mercy. Everyone else in parking services? Agents of darkness and chaos.
If it were absolutely possible to give 0 stars, you bet I would. This is the worst service on campus by far. The customer service is almost just as bad as the system they use to distribute parking permits. Unless you're a Freshman who waited untill the day before classes to sign up for a permit, you stand no chance. To put this into perspective, I've considered transferring to UF just because UGA parking services are that bad.

Parking services is the enemy. They get hard over the small amount of power they have and think they're alphas walking around with the little ticket machines attached to their hips. I just wonder how sad of a person you even have to be to like seek thrill in driving to half empty parking lots to ruin someone's day. Zero empathy, zero understanding, zero sign of any human emotion.
This place makes Hell look like a resort.
