We had my daughter's birthday party here and I was very disappointed. It seemed like everything went wrong. First, we did not have a hostess for the party. No one was giving out the skates so everyone in our party had to wait long periods of time for someone to show up. We did not get the glow sticks until AFTER the party was over. We paid an extra $50 for that and what's the point of getting them after the party? We had to clean up ourselves. When someone finally came to help clean up when we were almost done, they poured half drank cokes into the pitcher of coke that was remaining! We had kids who we were trying to find cups for (because no one gave us cups either) and when we made it back, the woman working thought she could do this with our renaming pitcher that we paid for. When we were packing up to go, I think I found the reason the party was so horrible... all the employees were hanging out OUTSIDE! And on top of this, the place is just filthy! The women's bathrooms were out of toilet paper and the carpet is heavily stained and disintegrating. The skating floors also were not very smooth as we were skating. We weren't even offered any sort of refund. All in all, I'd say to just stay away!!
Good place to go on Thursday, they have a great deal: admission, roller skate rental, and all you can eat pizza for $5. The rink is big enough and the employees were friendly.
The carpet is in really bad shape, it needs to be replaced, but other than that, is a good place.
The kids enjoyed themselves! They have these "crutch" like things with wheels that you can rent to help any first time or beginner skaters, which was very helpful since there isn't a kiddy rink. The few issues I had personally were the other kids had toys(balls) on the skate floor which could have been hazardous to others and themselves and some of the music (songs) had curse words which was (in my opinion) inappropriate for Saturday afternoon but overall it's GREAT place for the family.
We visited this establishment for our friends sons birthday and we were very disappointed with the owner of the establishment. The one little guy that was working behind the skate and food counter was great but the owner harassed my husband and accused him of stealing. The father of the birthday boy, who paid for the party at this establishment, told my husband he could use his skates to skate with our kids because he couldn’t skate, and the owner of the establishment came out on the floor and told him he could either pay him $7 or he had to take the skates off. Even the father of the birthday boy was over the attitude of the owner. He went off on my husband in front of our children and started saying how he has to pay his Georgia Power Bill and this and that. He harassed him and made him feel unwelcome. I would think twice before recommending or attending any events at this establishment.
Stealing?? The father of the birthday boy who paid for the party at your establishment, lent me his skates and told me to go skate with my kids since he could not skate. No worries Kenny, I will be giving you a review on yelp that you can’t “delete”. As a guest at your establishment I felt harassed and made to feel unwelcome and uneasy. We will never visit this place or recommend it to any of our friends.
