I think that the folks at McRae Family Dentist in Athens do a wonderful job! I personally see Dr. Popescu and her Assistant Nancy. They both are very professional and are always nice and friendly. The people at the receptionist desk also are really competent and friendly! I would highly recommend McRae Family Dentist to anyone!
Not just any dental office, you felt like family. Professional southern comfort comes to mind as soon as you walk through the door. Clean and bright. Staff is experienced and friendly. This is it!!! Best dental practice I’ve ever been too.
I have been going here for the past 2+ years and have always had a positive experience! All of the staff I've interacted with are friendly & personable. My treatment is professional & the hygienists are fairly gentle. I love how they show you your x-rays and pictures of your teeth so you can better understand what they're looking at & working on. They are usually timely with appointments and I'm in and out in 30-45mins each time. Highly recommend!
I usually don’t participate in reviews but I HAD to sing Dr. Popescu’s praises! She and her assistant Carly displayed such professionalism and compassionate bedside manner. As a nurse, it is difficult for me to be a patient and when you throw in my high anxiety as it relates to dental procedures, I was a nervous wreck going in. They were both very calming and reassuring. I must say that Dr. P’s hands are truly blessed by God. I had an extraction yesterday and I didn’t experience any pain during the procedure. It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist. Thank you both so much. I have extensive dental needs but I have put them off for so long due to my horrible experiences in the past. Again, as a nurse, I understand how important oral health is as it relates to every body system. Now I feel confident that I can receive quality, compassionate dental care and therefore be a healthier me all around! Also, the staff is friendly and non-judging. I would recommend McCrae Family Dental any day of the week!
Most hospitable and convenient dentist around. I sincerely left this office feeling happier and much better than before I went in. I have never been to any doctor that had more personable staff. I will be using them again, and will be recommending them to others. My impacted wisdom tooth extraction went phenomenally. No pain whatsoever and Dr. McRae was done with the whole procedure within 5 minutes.
