Great place to grab a drink, even has a mechanical bull
Me and my friends went here last weekend... all of them got it with no problem... I got to the door and the guy looked and my I.D and said have a nice night... so I asked him why I couldn't get in and he wouldn't give me a reason... it was another group of guys and they had the same issue of getting get in but nobody was in violation of the dress code and even the manager couldn't give me a reason why I couldn't get in! I drove an hour away to have a good weekend and this place ruined my damn night!!!
The drinks are horribly overpriced, and the doormen look for any reason to reject you, whether it's your shorts, shoes, shirt, hair, or anything. The dress code is "whatever particular doorman is feeling that night".
Jerzees fancies themselves a club, but really it's just a bar with a concrete dance floor and a stage with some lights on it. It's the only* (I do realize this is Athens) 18 bar, too, so it has a tendency to attract a younger crowd... who don't know how to handle themselves and frequently get in fights. It also has a strange tendency to attract 40+ people who are, I guess, trying to hook up with college students. Not really what you want to be around in your fun bar/club setting.
When I say this sports bar is sooooo racist and the staff is very rude. They never have anyone there that know how to make the drinks because they are all what you call celebrety bartenders and they say they never worked at that bar before or whatever that means. Then me and my friends was seated at the bar and kept asking for assistance and the bartenders constantly looked over us and took other people orders. The wings I ordered were not done they were pink and raw and that is a health violation. I asked them to cook them harder and they took them to the back and dropped them in some grease with my hotsause still on them and brought them back with no hotsause or lemon pepper spinkles. Every drink they made taste like it was chased with water. I went on a Sunday and was not happy. It maybe different if you go on another day but, Sundays suck.
This place is very racist against Black people but want give you a explanation why.... but they dont like black people at all...
