I stayed 4 consecutive nights at this hotel and was pleased. The room was very nice and current. The hotel was in the process of a major renovation so the construction caused day-noise and the parking was difficult with the construction. This hotel should be EXCELLENT after the construction is complete. I look forward to seeing the improvements when I visit Athens in the future.
It was disappointing because Athens is a cool historic southern town with some good restaurants.
Very nice hotel and looks like it is getting nicer and larger. Everyone was helpful and nice. I highly recommend staying here when in Athens.
Live and learn...
The room was nice and clean, but this was the 2nd Best Western we stayed in that didn't advertise they were under construction. While the construction was in a separate building, jackhammers, backing up beeping trucks and workmen hollering at each other started fairly early.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations. We were visiting the UGA vet hospital and they were very caring and let us stay as long as we needed. I would definitely stay here again in Athens, GA!!!
I was astonished at the value and quality of this hotel. You couldn’t touch anything in Southern California for the price I paid, much less a place this nice. Not a single complaint. The room was pristine, the toiletries included a makeup remover towelette, and the front desk provided me with toothbrush and toothpaste that I forgot. The bed was incredibly comfortable, a nice plus given that I have a very bad back that’s in line for a lumbar fusion - and extremely comfortable pillows - a VERY nice plus given that I was two weeks into recovery from a neck fusion. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to staying there again.
