It was Veteran's day and Outback Steakhouse offered veterans a free Bloomin Onion and a beverage.
I and my wife are veterans. I ordered a bloomin onion and a Coke Zero. My wife ordered the same thing. We were brought 2 Cokes and then 1 onion. I asked the waitress whose order she brought and she seemed confused. I gave my wife the onion and I waited for mine to be cooked.
I reminded her that the beverages were included. She asked a supervisor and gave me the remainder of the money. I tipped $6.

The shopping center has a big parking lot however it can be hard to get in and out of on both sides. But the Dollar Tree is one of the larger ones and it's always clean and well-stocked.
The ratings of it's stores aside, this place is old-looking and it's parking lot poorly maintained. The roads that border it are super busy. You can only get in and get out from the Atlanta Hwy side of things going in one direction (towards Athens from Bogart). As for Timothy, turning left out of here is often a pipe-dream.
Enjoyed walking around this mall. Not the largest place but that can be a good thing.
There is a secret exit on the Timothy road side though. Drive down past sports Academy, behind the bank. The bank has it's own access to Timothy. You can use this to turn right, or attempt a left, while the fools wait for traffic backed up by the light to move or be merciful.
After we finished our meal I gave the waitress a twenty and asked for change for the tip. Since the onion and beverage were free I was expecting the full amount, but I was given $13. I was charged for the Cokes and was not given the check. I was wondering if the waitress wanted a tip.
