I was having severe chest pains and went by ambulance to Piedmont Athens Hospital. I ended up having a cardiac catheter and had two stents due to two of my arteries being almost completely blocked.

My 2nd & 3rd hospital stay was awful. Especially the 3rd time.
Pain management is awful. This hospital used to be so awesome but since Piedmont took over. Housekeeping is bad too. I kept asking the nurses to change my sheets do to blood on my sheets and blankets. They never did. The food this time was nasty and cold.
My pregnant daughter was in a car accident on March 30, 2017. Thanks god bumps, bruises, cracked collar bone. Baby is good. All the staff were great, showed concern, took great care of my daughter &unborn granddaughter. Thanks. Thank you also to the lady in the gift shop, we were looking for ponytail holders, she found some for us. Might not seen like a lot to some people, but it meant a lot to us. Thank you all & God bless. The whole staff were amazing
Dr. E. Zouain & Marissa is the worst doctor I have ever met. Bedside manner is awful. He argued with my mom about the lack of care I was getting. Instead of them helping me I was sent home. I was told there was nothing else they could do for me.
Very bad experience.. My emergency department physician was Sewell, Eric F, MD. He sent me out the way I came in I was in beyond record of pain. I went to another hospital which I was very satisfied I will never go to Piedmont again.
Do Not Take your family or friends here. They used to be a compassionate hospital but not anymore.

X-ray Mark(Mac) was amazing! He did everything to ensure that my grandmother and I were very comfortable. He was beyond extraordinary a long with the rest of The staff. Thanks for all you do!
Everyone that I dealt with at the hospital were professional and pleasant to deal with. My experience was excellent. I would recommend this hospital as one that I trust and feel comfortable with.
I expressed my concerns to the hospital social worker and she offered no help.
