I go to Normal Hardware at least once a week it seems. They have lots of great products, almost any screw, bolt or nail you want to buy and they are always ready help you find what you need. It's really nice to have a local store right here at the junction of Normaltown, ARMC and Boulevard. If you live in town you should always stop by your local hardware store before spending your money at the big boxes, because Normal is almost always going to have what you need. Our local economy and your piece of mind will thank you for it.
Love this place! Personalized assistance and knowledgeable staff who great you when you walk in the door. Prices are higher than that of Lowe’s or Home Depot, but convenience and receiving help when you need it go a long way!
Really great small town store feel. Something that is really missed in a lot of places. I have been in and found what I was looking for a few times. They carry a good stock and will help find anything you might need.
When I walk into Normal Hardware it takes me back in time, reminding me of the hardware stores we shopped at when I was a child. I love this place! They have a little bit of everything and many of those hard-to-find items that the big box stores don't carry because they can't sell 100 of them each week. The folks are friendly and I enjoy just roaming the isles. I realize a smaller store might have higher prices, but I'm willing to pay a bit more (~10%) to keep a local retailer in business. It's a good investment ;-)
Just a great hardware store--one of only a few of its kind remaining. Highly recommend this store--great service and you can buy almost anything including gaskets and screws for faucets!
