I love the personable experience when shopping at this local bookstore. The staff is always so friendly and always helps me with excellent customer service when I have questions.
I recently moved away from Athens, and I think it is the Avid Bookshop that I will miss most. Unfortunately, I discovered it towards the end of my time living in Athens. Biggest regret - it's awesome! Great selection of books and more, great staff. Need something like this where I live now.
A newer location that provides the same wonderful selection and friendly customer service as the Prince Avenue store. The 5 Points location has a larger selection on non-book gift items, and it's a very attractive space.
Wonderful atmosphere, great inventory, very nice staff. I just went in killing time and ended up buying a Folkmanis fox puppet. I truly enjoyed this place!!!
