I used Padgett Business in Athens for two years. I stopped and I have used a generic accountant service since then. I still receive request letters from the IRS from the time Padgett filed my business taxes. Each time I take a new IRS request letter into Padgett to take care of it they charge me $100 to submit/resubmit things they should have done the first time. They screw up your taxes and then hold you hostage when the IRS comes knocking. One year I went in to pick up my taxes from Padgett and they surprised me with a $250 extra charge for some graph/report with useless information I didn't need. Total nightmare. I just had my tax preparer tell me Padgett messed up something new I didn't know about and it motivated me to finally tell other people about my experience.
